"Untitled II" from the series Whiteout

Whiteout was shot during severe weather conditions during a historic, record-breaking storm that took place in the American Midwest in April 2018.

Beauty in these photographs suggests the simple and idyllic obscuring the reality beyond the surface. These record storms are linked to climate change, warmer conditions are leading to more moisture in the air and significantly increased annual precipitation and extreme weather events.
