"Untitled" from the series Los pasos de la memoria
"Los pasos de la memoria" is a journey through the detonators of memory, my memory of the city where I was born, and lived for 40 years. The work retraces the steps of my childhood, when my mother, a Spanish civil war exile in Mexico City, showed me the place that welcomed her, with the same wonder of her first arrival.
This project has been shown at Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Alfredo Zalce, Morelia, Michoacán, Mexico, 2005, at Centro de la Imagen, Mexico City, 2006 and at Galerie Neg-Pos, Nîmes, France, 2015
